The Second City Conservatory
Between contracts last summer, I started my journey in Chicago's infamous comedy scene. Since then I've continued working in sketch and honing my craft as a comedian. Now I'm working in my first Grad Revue shows where my cohort and I will be devising and performing original sketches. I'm excited to be continuing cultivating my voice and shaping my outlook to the future of comedy!

"Only 2 Theatre Company, in association with Corn Productions, presents “The Tragedy of Macbeth” brought into a 1950s sitcom! A comical twist on the classic Shakespeare tragedy that deals with power, tropes of masculinity and femininity, and begs the question “what is reality?” all through the gags and laughs of a 1950s sitcom. We see the Macbeths as their lives get twisted by the powers that be, in front of a live studio audience!!"

This fall I'm super stoked to get back to my roots as an actor digging deep in Shakespeare's iconic Scottish play. I've really been enjoying the augmented premise for this production, which has given a lot of depth for me in Malcolm.
In this world I'm taking Malcolm in representation of countless child actors that are raised in an intense double life working in TV and film. People like Britney Spears, the Olsen twins, and Jeanette McCurdy who depict picturesque nuclear families on TV, but have a very opposite life and family off set.
In this premise I'm also having a lot of fun playing with the ideas of public self and private self by the concept of what's on camera and off camera. Malcolm also has text that's both revealing in verse, and emotionally rich. !
