"Sancta is a 4 day intensive consisting of movement research, improvisation, a collaborative choreographic process, and a live performance for a public audience. Dancers will take classes and work closely with three choreographers to collaborate on a new work performed only at Sancta. As a dancer I'm looking forward to getting back in a collaborative rehearsal room with the Symbiosis community! I'll be participating in week 2 of their SANCTA Intensive with choreographers Maggie Vannucchi and Braeden Barnes performing on July 18th.

"Toddler Hiking Club: An Imaginative Nature Walk is an interactive walking play for very young children that takes place in and around nature play spaces and on trails. As audiences follow the Trail Guide, they are introduced to some friendly, silly and musical animals who invite them to join the club through music, art and creative drama games! Best for children ages 2–5 with their caregivers. Audiences will be invited to walk 0.1–0.3 miles. Be sure to wear appropriate walking shoes. Accessible for all hikers!"

After working with Northbrook Theatre's TYA program in Dragons Love Tacos, I'm super excited to return to their stage with this immersive production! This will also be my first time working in an immersive theatre experience, so I'm excited for the challenge. This production will have me wearing multiple hats as a teaching artist, improviser, flute player, mover, and actor! Excited to get in the rehearsal room and on the trail this summer!

The Second City Training Program
Improv for Actors 1
While in between contracts this spring, I've been really enjoying my Improv for Actors class with Second City! Despite hesitations to go into a classroom setting, I've really been enjoying the time to work on my craft. Coming around my first full year post-grad, it's refreshing to be in an educational environment again.

Growing up I never took improv training myself, but watched my brother perform in many improv shows with his torupe. Being a n improv audience member helped me learn the rulesssss of the craft by proxy. I'm hearing a lot of my brother's old adages about improv in my head as I go. Combined with my improv-adjeacent Meisner training from college, I'm finding a lot of joy and depth in these classes.
